4. Entry requirements
British nationals can normally enter Brazil without a visa as a tourist. Passports should be valid for a minimum of six months from the date of entry.
Yellow fever risk area has been extended to include Curitiba. An inoculation certificate is not mandatory for entry but strongly advised for exit again afterwards.
Carrying of photographic ID is mandatory at all times (though not necessarily a passport).
An entry/exit card will be issued at the border and must be kept for exit. There are fines and hassle for losing it. It is permitted to print and complete the form in advance to save time at the border.
