No, not Alan Sugar, I'm talking about the carbohydrate that's used as a sweetener - it works really well as a soft abrasive to remove print from plastics. I've used it to remove the "Amstrad" logo from below the display of my E3 and it works a treat. I masked off the area with masking tape and used clingfilm to make sure that sugar didn't get into the E3 at any point. Then I rubbed normal granulated sugar over the logo and it disappeared without leaving a scratch.
