1. Debian packaging of xfce4

This is probably really dull for anyone except SimonHuggins and to an extent DanielSilverstone.

2. Build Order

xfce4 build order with build-depends:

gtk2-engines-xfce - only gtk

Currently we're building 4.0.6 everywhere and tracking its progress here. Bear with us.

libxfce4util -- Uploaded - built everywhere.
- libxfcegui4 -- Can be uploaded after dinstall tonight
- libxfce4mcs -- Can be uploaded after dinstall tonight
  - xfce-mcs-manager
    - xfce-mcs-plugins
    - xfce4-iconbox
    - xfce4-utils
    - xfdesktop4
    - xffm4
    - xfprint4
    - xfwm4
    - xfcalendar

Because buildds are broken and don't check build-depends and do dep-wait stuff automagically the plan to get this into unstable is to upload in 5 stages (yes, 5 *sigh*) with the stuff in bold with urgency=high.

Need to release 4.0.6

Need to fix:

Hurd bits
- The segfaulting occurs on Linux too. Sent upstream for now.
The make everything use sensible-browser and other such debianisms in the xfce4rc and the menu bugs. (part done)

Mail sent to Rudy Godoy and the bugs asking about these. No movement since April.

This has been adopted now and brought into the xfce4 fold
look at the shut down machine bug - looks like it's not a bug to me - replied as such. --SimonHuggins
