To celabrate varius birthdays a session of clay pigeon shooting was arranged. We were able to arrange 10 spaces for that day, but many more people expressed an interest in the event. so...

Sporting Targets. This is NOT a farmer's field.... They have one of the largest and best equipped clay shooting clubs in the country. You walk arround the camp with an instructor, to different sites. Each site is set up to provide a new challenge. They will explain where the clays are going to come from, what to expect, how to track the clay and when the optimum time to shoot is... As the session progresses the sites get more complex and harder, starting with simple single shot targets moving on to multiple clays in the air (and sometimes running along the ground). going in different directions. No we didn't shoot at clays launched from the big towers!

Jo has spoken to the folks at Sporting Targets to get a set of dates with good availability (i.e. not clashing with competitions!). Dates suggested are:
