Besides the venue digs, one possible alternative accommodation is Landis Inn Chuhu about ten minutes walk from the conference venue.

Probably the only viable option is to fly, but someone is bound to want a road trip.

4. Entry requirements
No visa required for UK passport holders. Before arriving fill in a online immigration arrival card. It's probably wise to have at least six months passport validity at the time of entry.
