So does Teso in Durham (11/8/06). So does Tesco in Durham (11/8/06).

Buying one, where and how much?

  • Please add your own updates as and when you spot them.

E3

  • I bought mine from Curries (an out of town one) about mid feb, £29.99 Doing the shopping, Out of town Tesco, £20, 22/03/06, the offer ends mid April so they say. Now £14.99 at Tesco (13/08/06)

Also Argos currently (5/4/06) sell them too for £29.95 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5519840.htm So what are you waiting for! ;) It seems that if you connect your E3 up to Amstrad's service it is liable to get an update to PBL which seems to (at least currently) prevent us from booting Linux on it. So far we have no reports of new E3s having this firmware preinstalled.

Emailer Plus

  • I see them today, 22/03/06, a couple in the local Postoffice Shop, looking very much unloved in the corner but at £10 it can't be bad.
  • 27/03/06 - my local Tezza has added a huge pile of Emailer pluses to the E3 bargains - at a tenner each.

E3

Tesco at Brooklands, Surrey haves stacks of them at GBP 14-93 (18/8/06). So does Tesco in Durham (11/8/06).
