Currently at '''stage 5''' - only the hard ones that require thought are left ;)

Because buildds are broken and don't check build-depends and do dep-wait stuff automagically the plan to get this into unstable is to upload in 5 stages (yes, 5 *sigh*) with the stuff in bold with urgency=high. (Although the first stage is almost complete)

Simon: Should we consider adopting the xfce4-goodies stuff? Namely bugs 2445{58,59,60,61,62,65,66,67,68,69} It would increase the bug list to: [http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=xfce4,libxfcegui4,libxfce4mcs,libxfce4util,xfce-mcs-manager,xfce-mcs-plugins,xfw4m,xffm4,xfdesktop4,xfce4-panel,xfce4-iconbox,xfce4-utils,xfprint4,xfcalendar,xfce4-mixer,xfce4-themes,xfce4-systray,xfce4-toys,xfce4-trigger-launcher,xfce4-systemload-plugin,xfce4-showdesktop-plugin,xfce4-notes-plugin,xfce4-netload-plugin,xfce4-minicmd-plugin,xfce4-diskperf-plugin,xfce4-datetime-plugin,xfce4-clipman-plugin,xfce4-battery-plugin,xfce4-artwork this]-- DanielSilverstone

Probably yes. I need to look at all the other packages first though really I guess. Might get some time to look at stuff on Sunday. -- SimonHuggins

Did Robster adopt these then? Looks like "Rudy Godoy" may have got there first.

1. Debian packaging of xfce4

This is probably really dull for anyone except SimonHuggins and to an extent DanielSilverstone.

xfce4 build order with build-depends:

  • gtk2-engines-xfce - only gtk
  • libxfce4util - Everything for this was installed on the 19th

    • libxfcegui4 - Everything in on the 21st

    • libxfce4mcs - Everything in on the 21st

      • xfce-mcs-manager - Everything in on the 23rd

        • xfce-mcs-plugins - Everything in on the 29th

        • xfce4-iconbox - Uploaded 1st May, hppa, i386, m68k, s390 done

        • xfce4-utils - ready

        • xfdesktop4 - Everything in (redo with Bill Alombert's comments in 246769 taken on board)

        • xffm4 - Uploaded 1st May, hppa, i386 done
