Simon: Should we consider adopting the xfce4-goodies stuff? Namely bugs 2445{58,59,60,61,62,65,66,67,68,69} It would increase the bug list to: [http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=xfce4,libxfcegui4,libxfce4mcs,libxfce4util,xfce-mcs-manager,xfce-mcs-plugins,xfw4m,xffm4,xfdesktop4,xfce4-panel,xfce4-iconbox,xfce4-utils,xfprint4,xfcalendar,xfce4-mixer,xfce4-themes,xfce4-systray,xfce4-toys,xfce4-trigger-launcher,xfce4-systemload-plugin,xfce4-showdesktop-plugin,xfce4-notes-plugin,xfce4-netload-plugin,xfce4-minicmd-plugin,xfce4-diskperf-plugin,xfce4-datetime-plugin,xfce4-clipman-plugin,xfce4-battery-plugin,xfce4-artwork this]-- DanielSilverstone

Probably yes. I need to look at all the other packages first though really I guess. Might get some time to look at stuff on Sunday. -- SimonHuggins

1. Debian packaging of xfce4

This is probably really dull for anyone except SimonHuggins and to an extent DanielSilverstone.

xfce4 build order with build-depends:

  • gtk2-engines-xfce - only gtk
  • libxfce4util - Everything for this was installed on the 19th

    • libxfcegui4 - Everything in on the 21st

    • libxfce4mcs - Everything in on the 21st

      • xfce-mcs-manager - needs libxfce4mcs, libxfcegui4

        • xfce-mcs-plugins - needs xfce-mcs-manager
        • xfce4-iconbox - needs xfce-mcs-manager
        • xfce4-utils - needs xfce-mcs-manager
        • xfdesktop4 - needs xfce-mcs-manager
        • xffm4 - needs xfce-mcs-manager
        • xfprint4 - needs xfce-mcs-manager
        • xfcalendar - needs xfce-mcs-manager
        • xfwm4 - needs xfce-mcs-manager
        • xfce4-panel - needs xfce-mcs-manager

          • xfce4-mixer - needs xfce4-panel
          • xfce4-systray - needs xfce4-panel
          • xfce4-themes - needs xfce4-panel
          • xfce4-toys - needs xfce4-panel
          • xfce4-trigger-launcher - needs xfce4-panel

Currently at stage 3

Because buildd's are broken and don't check build-depends and do dep-wait stuff automagically the plan to get this into unstable is to upload in 5 stages (yes, 5 *sigh*) with the stuff in bold with urgency=high. (Although the first stage is almost complete)

2. Bugs
