Differences between revisions 41 and 68 (spanning 27 versions)

1. Debian packaging of xfce4

This is probably really dull for anyone except SimonHuggins and to an extent DanielSilverstone.

2. Build Order

xfce4 build order with build-depends:

gtk2-engines-xfce - only gtk

Currently we're building 4.0.6 everywhere and tracking its progress here. Bear with us.

Because buildds are broken and don't check build-depends and do dep-wait stuff automagically the plan to get this into unstable is to upload in 5 stages (yes, 5 *sigh*) with the stuff in bold with urgency=high.

Need to fix:

Sort out -session.
- Backport the --disable-tcp code from CVS HEAD
- Backport the fix to start the Desktop/Autostart stuff even when there is no saved session from CVS HEAD
- ... but then another bug appeared. Something about running things multiple times that I've not had a chance to look at yet though I think I may have seen it.

Bugs for ITA are 224558,59,60,61,62,65,66,67,68,69 and (merged with) 245114,15,16,17,18,21,22,23,24,26.

Mail sent to Rudy Godoy and the bugs asking about these. No movement since April.

Rudy's made packages but we need to get these uploaded. I'll start my delicate persuasion again I think :)
